Women's Day Celebration

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Nangiarkulangara T. K Madhava Memorial College N. S. S Unit 39A &B
organized various programs. Program Officer Mrs. Preetha M. V, presided the inaugural function. Official inauguration of the program done by Principal Dr. P. P Sharmila.
Haripad Janmaitri Police Station senior C. P. O Mrs. Manju. P delivered the keynote speech.
Young entrepreneur Mrs. Jaya Ramesh, Prof. Lekha K. V and college Union chairperson Sivapriya felicitated the event. Special fitness training Zumba was given to the girls by Navya Raj, HOD, physical education department. Female students' achievements were recognised and honoured by male students.

The program help to impart the sense of equity and equality among students.

Silver medal

Kannan Raja of Bcom CA secured Silver Medal (59 kg category) in Alappuzha District Powerlifting Championship 2022-23.

Spashtanetra 2023


National Service Scheme organized an eye treatment camp and cataract diagnosis for the people  ward 18, Nangiarkulangara (adopted village) The camp was held under the joint auspices of Nangiarkulangara Town Residence Association(NTRA) and Netra Vision Point.

The eye camp spashtanethra was held at the Residence of Association's Secretary Surendran Bhagyodayam.

The camp was organized under the leadership of MV Preetha, NTRA Association President Illath Sreekumar, Secretary Surendran, Ramesh Atinedath and other NTRA office bearers. Sreeja Kumari, Vice Chairperson of Haripad Municipality, inaugurated the camp. The native people cooperated very well with the camp, 88 patients registered and diagnosed and took treatment . The needy patients were provided with medicines, spectacles and ensured facilities for further treatment. Volunteers like Varsha S Vijayan, Aditya Manoj, Adheena Vijay, Lakshmi Salim, Ashwathi S, Rijin Reji, Charukes K Priyesh, Sibin Raj, Abina B, Nandana S and Athira S made the necessary arrangements to organize the camp. The Camp greatly benefited the villagers, especially the elderly people.
