ഹരിപ്പാട് : ക്ഷയരോഗ ദിനത്തോട് അനുഭന്ധിച് ടി. കെ. മാധവ മെമ്മോറിയൽ കോളേജില്ലെ എൻ എസ് എസ് വോളന്റീർമാർ വിവിധ തരം പരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. എക്സിബിഷൻ, സർവ്വേ തുടങ്ങിയ പരിപാടികളാണ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്.സർവ്വേയുടെ ഭാഗമായി വോളന്റീർസ് വിവിധ വീടുകൾ സന്ദർശിക്കുകയും വിവരങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ക്ഷയരോഗത്തിന്റെ  ലക്ഷണങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും അതിനെ എങ്ങനെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കാം  എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും ആളുകൾക്കിടയിൽ  വോളന്റീർസ് ബോധവൽക്കരണം നടത്തി. തുടർന്ന് *THE CLOCK IS TICKING * എന്ന പ്രമേയത്തെ മുൻനിർത്തി രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും രോഗപ്രതിരോധത്തെ കുറിച്ചും വിവരങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിച്ച് വോളന്റീർസ് ഓൺലൈൻ എക്സിബിഷൻ നടത്തി.

NSS Volunteers Celebrated World Poetry Day, Forest Day and the World Water Day

Harippad: NSS volunteers of TK Madhava Memorial College celebrated World Poetry Day, Forest Day. The events began by 

 commemorating the 

Famous poet and lyricist, college alumnus Shri. Anil Panachooran.

College Principal Dr. Vinod Haridas inaugurated the ceremony and recited his poem showing the importance of tree planting.Volunteers talked about Kerala poetry and the influence of the same  on various aspects of people's life,the thoughts that poetry gives to man.

Muhammad, Charukesh. K. Priyesh, Sajira Salim and Abhiram shared their views and Karthik, Haritha Haridas recited poems,which  was followed by a poetry writing competition.

Tree saplings and medicinal plants were planted on the college premises in connection with the World Forest Day.

Water Day was celebrated by cleaning the water sources and taps in the college. In the upcoming days, it has been decided by the NSS team to conduct a water survey and test the water purity of the surrounding wells. National Service Scheme Program Officer and the History Department HoD

Pi day celebrations

Department of Mathematics celebrated Pi day in association with IQAC. Department organized a webinar on  'Sanskrit and Indian Mathematics'. Dr.Sunil Kumar R, Assistant Professor,  Department of Mathematics,BJM Govt College, Chavara was the resource person. He presented various problems from ancient Indian Mathematics in Sanskrit.Dr.Vinod Haridas, Dr.S R Rajeev, Dr.Arun S Prasad, Smt. Renjini S, Smt. Sinumol S,& Mr.M K Sreenivasan are also participated in the webinar.
