Nangiarkulangara TK Madhava Memorial College organized an anti-drug awareness workshop for the first year degree students under the aegis of National Service Scheme Unit no 39 A & B and Nerkootam.
Kottayam District Jail Welfare Officer Smt. T Shyamala Kumari led the session on "drug abuse, increased violence and POCSO cases". College Union Chairman Charukes K Priyesh shared his views in the function which was presided over by the NSS Programme Officer MV Preetha. The aim of the workshop was to prepare the volunteers for anti-drug awareness activities. After the session the volunteers performed different cultural programmes.
