Brief report of the meeting: A parents’ meeting of S3 B.COM CA& TT students was arranged on 11th NOVEMBER , 2020 in online mode via Google meet. In the meeting, a variety of issues were addressed regarding the students’ experiences and problems faced by them while attending online classes and also their all-round development.
The PTA meeting commenced by Divya.P.Bhadran HOD,Department of commerce, tutor gopika  welcoming all the Parents and Teachers. Divya.P.Bhadran Head of the Department, rendered the presidential address, in which she introduced the faculty members to the parents and stressed on the efforts taken by the faculty members to effectively transact the classes in an online mode. She then talked about the difficulties faced by the teachers and students concerning online classes. She further requested the parents to keep a close attention on the study activities of their child, and to further keep in constant touch with the teachers to monitor their performance. 
      A lengthy interaction, moderated by tutor, gopika and ardra then ensued between parents and teachers regarding the performance of the students. Important suggestions & complaints put forward by the parents: 
Pending of second semester examination is one of the major problem  discussed by parents 
third semester examination anciety is another problem faced by students
content sharing irregularity is another problem
parents  discussed  about tensions relating to second semester examination 
Health issues (head ache, neck pain, back problems etc) in many students as a result of continuously attending online classes
Complaints regarding continuous writing of notes provided by different teachers
Lack of dedication among students to study regularly especially among boys students
Great appreciation to teachers on the pains taking efforts taken by the teachers in conducting online classes 
They opined network problems for attending classes
Recorded classes are very effective for further studies.
Continuing the discussions, the teachers gave the following suggestions to the parents to help improve their children’s performance in the course: 
Being punctual in attending classes
Discussing with individual teachers regarding relaxation in time in completing notes
To help students to adapt themselves to the changing circumstances by constantly motivating them
The meeting was concluded with K.Murali delivering the vote of thanks.
Decisions taken: 
Decided to conduct crash revision programme for facing  second  semester examination
Decided to conduct Internal examinations through  online method
Parents were encouraged to communicate with teachers via phone to discuss any concerns that might assist the teacher in understanding the needs of the individuals.
The parents were requested to give a feedback on the program
