Interdepartmental online quiz competition

The Centre for Gandhian Studies of T K Madhava Memorial College conducted a virtual celebration of Martyrs Day on 30 January 2022 and paid homage to the sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi and freedom fighters in the Indian Independence.

The CGS members observed two minutes silent prayer for remembering the brave martyrs and Mrs. Athira M Raj, Co-ordinator of Centre for Gandhian Studies delivered the Martyrs Day message . It was followed by an Inter Departmental Online Quiz Competition. The Quiz was conducted through the online platform ‘quizzes’ and 32 participants attended it. E- Certificates were awarded to the winners and all the participants.

Republic day programmes

73d Republic day celebrations.

NSS,and NCC Unit jointly celebrated

Republic Day with variety of programmes. Celebrations started with the Flag hoisting ceremony by Shri P Sreemon, HoD, Department of Zoology . NSS Programme Officer Mrs. Preetha M. V, NCC ANO. Lt. V. Seena delivered the Republic Day messages. Volunteers conducted competitions like Elocution, Quiz, patriotic songs etc. The preamble to the Constitution was readout to the volunteers by the programme officer.The programes were concluded with Republic Day Pledge. NSS volunteers also planted trees and vegetable saplings as part of the Haritham Bharitham project, an already started initiative by the unit in the campus.The events were organized in compliance with the covid protocol.
