Career orientation class

Department of Mathematics, T K Madhava Memorial College conducted Career Orientation class for the final year students of Bsc Mathematics .

The orientation programme was conducted via Google meet at 6 pm .

Fazliya M ,student of final year Bsc Mathematics sang prayer for the function.

Mrs Renjini S(Hod, Department of Mathematics)

welcomed all to orientation programme . Dr P.P.Sharmila(Principal,Tkmm college) presided over the function.

Dr.Preeth M (Hod,Department of Statistics) and Mrs.Sinumol S(Assistant professor, Department of Mathematics) expressed their felicitations .

The speakers of the orientation session were Smt.Greeshma Latha (Programme manager,ASAP) and. Smt.Chinchu C Babu (Programe manager,ASAP).The class was very effective and it introduced several job orientated courses to the students.

Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day

In connection with the Guru Samadhi Day National Service Scheme conducted the program called "* Gurudarshanathiloode *"

The program started with the Guru deva's Daivadasakam.

NSS volunteers recalled that the ideas given to us by the Guru are still relevant even today, and also presented video on Guru's visions.

College Principal Dr. PP Sharmila, former principal, Dr. Vinod Haridas paid homage to the Guru and shared their views. Everyone has confirmed the importance of Guru's thought in the present scenario of religious, caste divisions. Volunteer Athira Mohan and Charukes. K. Priyesh, Shruti. S, Reshma. M, Music, Lakshmi. MS, et.al led the event under the guidance of M. V Preetha , NSS Programme Officer.

52nd Anniversary Celebrations of the National Service Scheme

The NSS anniversary celebrations at TK Madhava Memorial College kicked off with diverse programmes from September 24 to October 2. This week's focus will be on "Hygiene, Health and Service". The celebrations were inaugurated by Principal Dr. P.P. Sharmila. Programme Officer Preetha will provide leadership. Alappuzha Dt.

Ozonia 2021

In connection with the world ozone day Celebrations, The Ozonia Project was launched aiming at the protection of atmosphere and the environment spearheaded by National Service Scheme.

Various UP and High schools in Alappuzha district will also be included in the scheme. In connection with this St.Thomas High School, Head Master and State Level Science Resource Member Shri. Manuel Jose led a webinar session. Kayamkulam SN Central school Principal Dr.SB. Sreejaya and Teachers and children from different Schools of Alappuzha dt. ,associated with this project participated. Mavelikkara Govt. Girls High School teachers Sindhu and Sujatha, students viz Akshitha, Jasmine, Karthika, Kalyani, Parvathy and N.S. S volunteers Reshma and Meenakshi also took part in the discussion . NSS Program Officer Mrs. Preetha MV Welcomeed and Volunteer Charukesh. K. Priyesh delivered vote of thanks.

ഹരിപ്പാട് : ഓസോൺ ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ടി. കെ. മാധവ മെമ്മോറിയൽ കോളേജിലെ എൻ. എസ്. എസ്സിൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് ഭൗമാന്തരീക്ഷവും പരിസ്ഥിതിയും സംരക്ഷിക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ

"ഓസോണിയ " നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്. ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ വിവിധ സ്കൂളുകളിലെ യു പി, ഹൈസ്ക്കൂൾ വിഭാഗത്തേക്കൂടി പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തും. ഇതോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് "ഓസോൺ- ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ കവചം" എന്ന വിഷയത്തെ അധികരിച്ച് തുമ്പോളി സെന്റ്. തോമസ് ഹൈസ്കൂൾ പ്രഥമ അദ്ധ്യാപകനും, സ്റ്റേറ്റ് തല സയൻസ് റിസോഴ്സ് അംഗവുമായ ശ്രീ. മാനുവൽ ജോസ് വെബിനാറിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു. കായംകുളം ശ്രീ നാരായണ സെൻട്രൽ സ്കൂൾ പ്രിൻസിപ്പലും, കോളേജിലെ മുൻ പ്രിൻസിപ്പലുമായ ഡോ. പ്രൊഫ. എസ് ബി ശ്രീജയയും, ജില്ലയിലെ വിധിധ സ്കൂൾ അധ്യാപകരും കുട്ടികളും വെബിനാറിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു. മോൺട്രിയൽ പ്രോട്ടോക്കോളും, ഭക്ഷ്യ-പരിസ്ഥിതിയുടെ സുസ്ഥിരതയും നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നതിനേപ്പറ്റി മാവേലിക്കര ഗവ. ഗേൾസ് ഹൈസ്കൂളിലെ അദ്ധ്യാപകരായ സിന്ധു, സുജാത, വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയായ അക്ഷിത, ജാസ്മിൻ കാർത്തിക, കല്യാണി, പാർവതി, എൻ.എസ്. എസ് വോളന്റീയർമാരായ രേഷ്മ, മീനാക്ഷി തുടങ്ങിയവരും ചർച്ചയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

ഓസോണിയ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമാകുന്ന സ്കൂളുകൾ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന വിവിധ പ്രോജക്ടുകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നതുമായിരിക്കും. എസ്. എസ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസറും ഹിസ്റ്ററി വിഭാഗം അദ്ധ്യാപികയുമായ ശ്രീമതി പ്രീത എം.വി സ്വാഗതവും, വോളൻ്റിയർ ചാരുകേശ്. കെ. പ്രിയേഷ് പരിപാടിക്ക് നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു.

REPORT OF ONLINE QUIZ COMPETITION CONDUCTED ON OZONE DAY (16/09/2021)

An online quiz competition was conducted using Quizzes platform on 16/09/2021 jointly by Department of Chemistry & Reading Club, T. K. M. M. College, Nangiarkulangara, on the occasion of World Ozone Day. World Ozone Day is observed on September 16 every year to spread awareness among people about the depletion of Ozone Layer and find possible solutions to preserve it. The primary aim of the quiz is to test the knowledge on the ozone layer, ozone depleting substances and synthetic greenhouse gases, thereby creating awareness among students about ozone layer, a fragile shield of gas, which protects the Earth from the harmful portion of the rays of the sun, and helping preserve life on the planet.

79 students actively participated in this quiz and they got the result immediately after finishing it.

First Prize: Ms. Adithya R.; S2 MSc Chemistry (Cash award of Rs. 1000/-)

Second Prize: Ms. Mekha K.; S5 Chemistry (Cash award of Rs. 500/-)
