An online orientation programme for first year BSc mathematics was conducted on November 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Renjini S, assistant professor of Mathematics and tutor of first year BSc Mathematics students welcomed all. B.Bindu the head of department of Mathematics gave presidential address. Vinod Haridas,the principal of T K M M College addressed the students and parents. He explained challenges in online mode of learning. Lekha K V the head of the department of Malayalam, Mini R the head of department of Hindi, Dr chalana S R and Sasankan, faculties of department of Physics,
Dr Parvathy U, Parvathy Ramachandran, Sarsha T S, Remya V R , the faculties of department of English addressed the meeting. They talk about syllabus and textbooks and the way of teaching in online mode. Finally Sinumol S ,the faculty of department of Mathematics delivered vote of thanks. 26 students along with their parents participated in the orientation program conducted by department of Mathematics and expressed their views and queries related to online teaching and learning. The program was ended by 8:30 p.m.
