Haripad: On the occasion of National Panchayat Raj Day, NSS volunteers of Nangiarkulangara T. K.M.M. College organized a webinar on " Youth and the Nation building " . The State Director of the Department of Women and Child Development, T V Anupama I.A.S was the special guest.
The webinar was able to create a clear awareness of the panchayat raj system and the effective decentralization system that worked in our country, especially in Kerala
during the covid period. Shealso explained
how Panchayati raj institutions have been instrumental in socio- economic transformation in India. she also spoke on the need of "YOUTH EMPOWERMENT" and it can contribute to nation building.
TV Anupama detailed the areas of public administration, the proper intervention of the social media, and the various areas to which the activities of the National Service Scheme can be expanded, including the social security of children.
NSS Program Officer Smt. Preetha. M. V welcomed the ceremony. College Principal Dr. Vinod Haridas chaired the session. NSS Program Officer Shri. Akhil. B. S delivered vote of thanks Volunteers N. Nihal Muhammad, Ayana. S and Athira Mohan also participated in the discussions held thereafter.
