Harippad: The National Service Scheme Volunteers of TK Madhava Memorial College, Nangiarkulangara have turned 'National Chakka Day' into a Chakka festival through various events. The festivities began with the planting of Jack fruit plants in volunters' home.
The students made several posters introducing different types of chakkas, their benefits and intresting facts about chakka .
The online recipes of 73 dishes were prepared by the volunteers and the program officer.
The event was led by MV Preetha, Program Officer,
Volunteer leader Nihal Mohammad, Haritha, Krishnapriya, Rijin and Charukes convened the program.
