ടി കെ മാധവ മെമ്മോറിയൽ കോളേജിൽ നാഷണൽ സർവ്വീസ് സ്കീമിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ ലോക പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനം വിവിധ പരിപാടികളോടെ ആഘോഷിച്ചു.
കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാലയുടെ ഹരിതാലയം പ്രോജക്റ്റിനോട് കൈകോർത്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഇത്തവണ പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. കോവിഡ് സുരക്ഷാ മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ പാലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു ചടങ്ങ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്.
രാവിലെ 10 മണിക്ക് കോളേജ് ക്യാംമ്പസിൽ മരങ്ങൾ നട്ടു കൊണ്ട് പരിപാടി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡോ. വിനോദ് ഹരിദാസ്, എൻ എസ്സ് എസ്സ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസർ പ്രൊഫ. എം വി പ്രീത എന്നിവർ പരിപാടിക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകി. ശേഷം കുട്ടികൾക്ക് പ്രകൃതിസംരക്ഷണവും, ജെെവ വൈവിധ്യങ്ങളുടെ സംരക്ഷണത്തേയും പറ്റി അവബോധം നൽകി.
11.30 സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച വെബിനാറിൽ കാലിക്കറ്റ് സർവ്വകലാശാല എൻവയോൺമെന്റ് സയൻസ് വിഭാഗം മേധാവി. Dr. സി സി ഹരിലാൽ " ജെെവ വൈവിധ്യ സംരക്ഷണം സുസ്ഥിര ജീവത്തിനായി " എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ സംവദിച്ചു. പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ Dr.വിനോദ് ഹരിദാസ് വെബിനാറിൽ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. എൻ എസ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസർ പ്രൊഫ. എം വി പ്രീത വെബിനാറിന് സ്വാഗതവും, വോളണ്ടിയർ , ലീഡർ ജിതു സുനിൽ ആശംസയും, എൻ എസ്സ് എസ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസർ ഡോ. വി ശ്രീജ നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞു. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിഭാഗം അസിസ്റ്റൻറ് പ്രൊഫസർ ശ്രീമതി. പാർവതി രാമചന്ദ്രൻ വെബിനാർ സെഷനുകൾ മോഡറേറ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
