NSS Volunteers Celebrated World Consumer Day * March 15 #Tackling plastic pollution.

NSS Unit (no:39 A& B) of T. K.Madhava Memorial College, lQAC Dept.of History, Economics, Political science jointly organized a webinar under the banner " Alert ".

 

"Consumerism: Eating the future " was the topic  the talk Professor NL Sajikumar, Lecturer, Government Law College, Kozhikode was the key Speaker. He has bagged  NR Madhava Menon Best Teacher Excellence Award thrice (2016, 2017, 2018), and Best teacher award by Rotary International (2015). He spoke well on the topic, gave a clear vision on  the LeagaIiities of empowered consumerism, and the duties of a consumer. The webinar also focused the tagline of World Consumer Day this year ie, "Tackling plastic pollution''.

Dr. Vinod Haridas,  the Principal of TKMM College presided over the function.

 NSS Programme Officer and HoD of  History Dept. smt. MV Preetha welcomed the gathering and volunteer Bhagyasree delivered vote of Thanks. IQAC Co-ordinator Dr. Arun S prasad felicitated. volunteers Archana P, Athira Mohan G also discussed the topic.
