College celebrated the 49th death anniversary of R.
Shankar, founder of Sreenarayana Trust and allied institutions for health and education, and the former Chief Minister. His contributions to different fields were recollected by the speakers.
The event was organized with the intention of passing it on to the new generation. Pushparchana was conducted. Thereafter meeting was organized under the auspices of the National Service Scheme unit of the The Principal Dr. P. P. Sharmila presided over the function. College R. D. C Convener Shri. K Ashoka Panicker delivered the keynote address. Head of Zoology Department Shri.P. Sreemon, P. T. A Vice President Mr. A. P. Rajeev. NSS Volunteer Secretary S. Ayana et.al comemmorated R. Shankar. The NSS PO and the event co-ordinator Smt. M.V. Preetha welcomed the gathering and IQAC co-ordinator Dr. Arun S. Prasad delivered vote of thanks.
