*The Legal Literacy Club* *2021-22*
The Legal Literacy Club of TKMM College, Nangiarkulangara in association with IQAC organized a webinar on 'Dowry Prohibition Act: A Paper Tiger?' on 4th March 2022 at 7pm through G- Meet. Dr. Meenakumary S, Assistant Professor, Govt.Law College, Thiruvananthapuram was the resource person. She briefly explained the main objectives and various sections of the dowry prohibition Act. Punishment for dowry was also under discussion. The Presidential Address was given by the Principal Dr. P. P Sharmila. Coordinator of the programme Smt. Sinumol S, Asst. Professor in Mathematics welcomed all. Dr.S. R Rajeev, H.O.D, Economics & NAAC Coordinator felicitated the function. Dr. Arun S Prasad , IQAC Coordinator & H.O.D. Physics has made the vote of thanks for the function. Students & Faculties were actively participated in the discussion time. The webinar concluded with Acts & Facts of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
