Seminar on *Understanding the Nature* *Using Matrices*
The Department of Mathematics in association with IQAC organized a seminar on Understanding the Nature Using Matrices as the part of DARSHAN ' 22 on 16/01/2023 at 10.00 am in the seminar hall. Dr.Krisha Kumar G, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, University of Kerala was the resource person. He narrated how to model real life problems with differential equations. Also various aspects of heat equation and wave equation are explained in detail.The reason why the matrix multiplication as the composition of two linear transformations is also discussed in the session. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Sharmila P.P, Principal of the College. Welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Arun S Prasad, IQAC Coordinator. The Program was felicitated by Dr. Sheela S , HoD, Zoology. Smt.Sinumol S, Assistant Professor in Mathematics and the Coordinator of the program introduced the speaker to everyone. Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Sona V, Mathematics Association Secretary. Faculty members and Students from various departments like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Zoology were actively participated in the program.
