TKMM College, Nangiarkulangara organized a celebration on National Technology day at 6th January, 2020 under the banner of TECHSMART 2020, A Computer literacy awareness mission for computer awareness club . National Technology Day recognizes the way technology changes the world and looks to the future of technology. The celebration was organized for first year Degree students.
The event started with a prayer song in the presence of Principal and Heads of various Departments, Faculties and students of various discipline
The welcome speech was given by Dr. V.Sreeja, Convener, computer awareness club followed by presidential address of Dr. P.P.Sharmila, Principal, TKMM College, Nangiarkulangara. She addressed the gathering and shared her wide spectrum of knowledge about cyber security. She highlighted the growth and importance of technology in our day today life. Mr. P.Sreemon , HOD Department of Zoology felicitated the gathering with his energetic words, in his speech he mentioned the importance of technology in the future.
Dr. T. Sreeja, Assistant Professor Department of chemistry delivered felicitation speech which encouraged the crowd to attend the seminar with great interest, which will provide various ways in improving their knowledge. She expressed words of gratitude to the computer awareness club for arranging the TECHSMART 2020 programme for the students. Dr.R. Tintu, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics delivered vote of thanks for the function.
A seminar of “Frontiers of Cyber Security” was held by the college as a part of National Technology day. The seminar was delivered by Mr. Jithin Babu has more than 10 years’ experience in the field of Software engineering. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department. of Computer Application, Naipunya College, Cherthala. His speech is remarkable and the audience was impressed with his immense knowledge on cyber security and cyber laws
