A multi- disciplinary seminar: 'Statistics in Practice' has organised by the Department of Statistics, TKMM College together with Departments of Mathematics and Economics on 9-12-2022. This is conducted as part of the DARSHAN

 2022. The seminar has been inaugurated with a meeting, which was presided by Dr. P P Sharmila, Principal. Dr. Arun S Prasad, Head of the department of Physics and IQAC Co-ordinator made the welcome speech. Dr. Rajeev SR, Head of Department of Economics and NAAC co-ordinator as well as Renjini S, Head of the department of Mathematics gave felicitations to the programme. Dr. Sreejith V, Associate Professor of Statistics, Govt. Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram handled the technical Session. He explained several practical situations where Statistics has made its importance. Participants include 134 students and more than 15 teaching staffs of the college. The programme has been co-ordinated by Dr. Preeth M, Assistant Professor of Statistics together with the members Dr. SR Rajeev, Associate Professor of Economics, Renjini S, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Seena V, Assistant Professor of Economics, Sinumol S, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, MK Sreenivasan, Assistant Professor (on Contract ) of Mathematics, Sheeja S, Assistant Professor (on Contract) of Economics and Sreya R, Assistant Professor (on Contract) of Mathematics.
